Benny K. Brown

Benny Brown, 60, entered into rest on Saturday, October 2, 2010.

Mr. Brown was born on December 28, 1949 in Eastman. Proudly serving his country in the United States Navy, Mr. Brown continued his service with Robins Air Force Base, retiring after 32 years. He was a past president of the Jaycees in Georgia. Mr. Brown was also an avid Georgia Football fan, loved hunting, and spending time outdoors. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Kathy Morgan Brown; his mother, Evelyn Betty Hart.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Dawn Brown, Elko; father, Willis Hart, McRae; children, Leslie Wheeler, Marietta; Tripp Eldridge, Macon; Stephanie Perdue, Brighton, TN; Andrew Etheredge, Warner Robins; sisters, Betty Beauchamp, McRae; Sandra Ussery, Lumber City; six grandchildren; and faithful companion and dearly loved 'Daddy's Boy,' Charlie Walker.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Dr. Jim Perdue officiating. Interment will follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
