Bernice Davidson Wills

Bernice Davidson Wills, 81, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015.

A native of Bonaire, Georgia, Bernice was born on June 21, 1934 to the late David L. Davidson, Sr. and Hallie Stubbs Davidson. She was a 1952 Graduate of Warner Robins High School where she was a standout basketball player. Bernice became a typist at Robins Field following graduation, and worked there for several years before deciding to fully devote herself to a career in raising her children and keeping their home.

In her spare time, Bernice loved to gamble and made regular trips to Biloxi and Tunica. She also enjoyed fishing and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Primitive Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Bernice was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charles, Leslie, Jr. and Ned Davidson; and her sisters, Mary Ella Pollett and Nanette Wills.

Bernice leaves her memory behind with her devoted husband of 60 years, George B. Wills of Bonaire; children, George S. Wills (Claire) and Donna W. Loudermilk (Lee), both of Bonaire; grandchildren, Shana Wood (Chad), Shelley Greer (Mitch), Matt Rideout, and Kasey Pedersen (Todd); great-grandchildren, Asher, Anabelle, and Hudson Wood, Ansley and Will Greer; and Layla and Gavin Pedersen; and a host of adoring nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Wills Residence, 122 Old Perry Rd., Bonaire, GA 31005 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Bonaire Cemetery with Rev. Chad Wood officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in memory of Bernice to your favorite charity.
