Bernice R. Fairchild

Bernice R. Fairchild, 76, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2004. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mrs. Fairchild was born in Bibb County, GA. She was a member of Sardis Primitive Baptist Church, attended the First Presbyterian Church of Warner Robins, and was a former member of the Pilot Club of Warner Robins. She was retired from Wachovia Bank, formerly Citizens State Bank, where she was the Head Teller for 33 years. Her husband, Marion L. Fairchild, Sr.; parents, Clavis Reddy and Mamie Hudson Bond, step-father, John Wesley Bond, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, George Fairchild (Sue) and Larry Fairchild (Marian), Macon, GA; granddaughter, Jennifer Fairchild-Pierce (Andrew); granddaughter, Adrian Fairchild-Hobbs (Dwight), Centerville, GA; step-grandson, Eric Bisher (Allison), Cochran, GA; step-granddaughter, Sabrina Holcomb (Bobby), Byron, GA and step-great-granddaughter, Allyssa Hobbs, Centerville, GA.
