Bertie Cardone

Perry - Mrs. Bertie Cardone, 83, died Sunday, February 2, 2003. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 5 in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The Reverend Eugene Bates will officiate. Visitation will be
Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cardone was born in Columbus, GA, where she attended Jordan High School. A homemaker, she was retired from civil service at Fort Riley in
Junction City, Kansas. She moved to Perry, GA, in August of 2002. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie Carpenter and Bernard Carpenter, Sr.; sisters, Ruby Bryan and Mamie Birmingham; brothers, George Carpenter
and Bernard Carpenter, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, John A. Cardone, Sr., Perry, GA; daughters, Brenda Walker (Bruce), Perry, GA, and Mary Siets (Bill), Ludowici, GA; son, John Anthony Cardone, Jr., Junction City, KS; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
