Bertram ''Bert'' James Hawley, Stc, (Usn, Ret)

Bertram "Bert" James Hawley, 83, entered into rest on December 6, 2011.

Bert was born on December 24, 1927 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He retired in 1966 from the United States Navy after twenty-one and one-half years of loyal service. Following retirement from the Navy, he worked at Westinghouse Electric Corporation in the Underseas Division for twenty-one years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Hawley and Ceceila Schomorrow Hawley; and brothers, Roy Hawley and James Hawley, III. His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty-five years, Alice A. Hawley; and ten siblings. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
