In the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 10, 2017, Betty Caldwell, 84, went to be with the Lord.
Betty was born on October 16, 1932 in Eastman, Georgia to the late Walker and Carrie Davidson. She was a devoted loving homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and having family over for the holidays. As a member for many years, Betty enjoyed involvement at The Assembly at Warner Robins in many capacities. She was an exceptional role model with a servant's heart, both at home and for the Lord.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Wacter and sister, Barbara Rowland.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 38 years, Hollis Caldwell; son, Randy Clay (Rebecca); five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, John W. Davidson (Alice) of Americus; sister, Shelby Loyd of Byron, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with Betty's family will be Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, Betty will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
