Betty Futrell

Betty Futrell, 79, entered into rest Friday, April 16, 2010.

Mrs. Futrell was born to the late Thomas and Alice Woody on July 22, 1930 in Roswell, New Mexico. Having lived in Warner Robins since 1971, she was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Adult Sunday School class. She was employed by Girl Scouts of America as a Field Director for twelve years and held Regional and National level positions and was on the Board of Directors of the United Ostomy Association where she volunteered and is a lifetime member.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Robert L. Futrell; children, Sharon Martin (Bobby), Oglethorpe, Georgia and Lori Adair (Richard), Kathleen; grandchildren, Angela Hobbs, April Martin and Rebecca Adair; great grandchild, Aiden Hobbs; and brother, Clifford Woody, Stephensville, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday, April 19, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Interment will be private.
