Betty J. Forehand

Betty Jane Forehand, 79, entered into rest on June 7, 2011.

Mrs. Forehand was born on April 27, 1932 in Gray, Georgia. She was of the Baptist faith. She was the Atlanta Braves' number one fan, and was an avid gardener. A homemaker, Betty was devoted to her family always making sure they knew how much they were loved. Her husband, John Allen Forehand, Sr.; parents, James Davis and Mattie Miller; and grandson, Corey Mark Borden preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, John Allen (Gwen) Forehand, Jr., Wayne (Denise) Forehand, and Sheila Stafford; grandchildren, Terri (Erik) Chavira, Patience Bradshaw, Benjamin (Kristen) Cheek, Matthew (Kim) Forehand, Brett Forehand, Joshua Borden, and Adriana Borden; and great-grandchildren, Kinnley Chavira, Kaitlyn and Madison Cheek, and Rylee Puckett.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
