Betty L. Myrick

Betty L. Myrick, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Mrs. Myrick was born in Griffin, Georgia. She was a member of Kathleen Baptist Church. Her husband, Willie C. "Bubba" Myrick, parents, Johnson Leigh and Maggie Kent Leigh and sister, Martha Leigh preceded her in death.

Family members include her daughters, Dianne Caywood, Warner Robins; Denise M. Smith (Michael), Bonaire; sons, Gary Myrick (Kimberly), Warner Robins; sisters, Faye Rainwater (Guy), Jonesboro and Shirley Owsley (David), Thomaston; brothers, Alfred Leigh (Flossie), Alabama; Bobby Leigh (Wynette), Macon and Larry Leigh (Becky), Helen; seven grandchildren, Michelle NeSmith, Tiffany Padgett, Benjamin Newton, Brandon Smith, Brandi Smith, Jason Smith, and River Wood; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 2, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
