Betty May Price passed away on the morning of Sunday, October 24, 2021. She was 87 years old.
Born on July 18, 1934 in Two Buttes, Colorado, Betty was the daughter of the late W.G. Jefferson and Nellie Hardin Jefferson. As a homemaker, she was a dedicated wife and mother. Betty loved to travel and to meet new people. As part of the Jehovah’s Witness organization, her goal in life was to witness to as many people as she could.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Edgar Price.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Allen Price (Dale) of Warner Robins and Larry Price (Patricia) of Juliette; grandchildren, Allen Price, Jr., and Candice Jones (Patrick); great grandchildren, Jesse Price, Samantha Price, Michaela Jones, Abby Jones, and Emily Jones; and her sister, Norma Osborne of Burnes, Oregon.
The family will receive friends from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at McCullough Funeral Home. Her service will immediately follow the visitation in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Andersonville National Cemetery. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
