Betty Thompson Bateman

Mrs. Betty Bateman, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 31, 2007.

Mrs. Bateman was born on July 16, 1940 in Anniston, Alabama. She was a member of Christian Hope Congregational Holiness Church. A fabulous homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sibling, she truly enjoyed time spent with her family. Her parents, Lloyd and Jewell Thompson, and brothers, Clifton and Kenneth Thompson, all preceded her in death.

She will be missed by her husband, Travis F. Bateman, Warner Robins; children, Dan Bateman (Melane), Byron; Dwayne Bateman (Candace), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Kyle, Deanna, Kerri, Wesley and Eric Bateman; sisters, Frances Smith (Jerry), Apopka, FL; Phyllis Horton (Ronald), Concord; Sarah Taylor (Rick), Griffin.

Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, at First Assembly of God Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
