Mrs. Beverly Russ, 70, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2007. Mrs. Russ was born on December 14, 1936 in Helena, Montana. A former member of Eastman Baptist Church, she attended Shirley Hills Baptist Church. A homemaker, Beverly was a resident of Warner Robins since 1969. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was involved in many community organizations including, Eastern Star #351, and the American Legion Ladies’ Auxillary where she proudly served as past President. In addition, through many years of hard work and dedication in the Moose Lodge, Beverly was vested with the College of Regents Degree. Her parents, Opel Nathaniel and Stella Ada Kaiser Webb, preceded her in death.
She will be missed by her husband, Garfield Russ, sons, Gerald McMann, Jr. (Jolene), Brian W. Russ (Jennifer), James Russ, all of Warner Robins; Gregory Russ (Lori), Macon; Andy Russ (Lori), Winston Salem, NC; Mark Russ, Atlanta; daughters, Jeanne Williams (John), Bonaire; Stella McSpadden (Tommy), Byron; Cindy Wright (Sammy), Tifton; Tami Mix (Charlie), Atlanta; brothers, Rex Webb, Brown City, MI; Dennis Webb, Croswell, MI; David Webb, Americus; sisters, Yvonne Goggins, Americus; Opal Ferranti, Croswell, MI; eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2007 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with private interment in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Foundation for the Blind – Lower Vision Foundation 11 Penn Plaza, Suite 300 New York, NY 10001.
