Billie Jean Baker

Billie J. Baker, 66, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2007.

Mrs. Baker was born in Columbiana, Alabama on August 8, 1941. She retired from the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services after 25 years of service, and was a homemaker. She was also a member of Second Baptist Church of Warner Robins, and had resided in Houston County since 1966. Her parents, Eulus Jones and Briddie Jones, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Frank Baker, Kathleen; her son, Lee Baker and his wife, Ginger, their children, Emmalee and Madelyn of Mildenhall, England; sister, Delene Short, Alexander City, Alabama; brother, James Jones, Westover, Alabama.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 18, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2007 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
