Blanche Glenn, 87, entered into rest Saturday, March 14, 2009. Mrs. Glenn was born in Lowell, North Carolina, on March 5, 1922. She was a homemaker and a long time resident of Mount Holly, North Carolina, where she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for over fifty years. She moved to Warner Robins in 2001 and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Glenn, her parents, Arthur Clemmer and Nancy Lay Clemmer, two sisters and three brothers.
Her memory will live in the hearts of her daughter, Nancy Andrews (Roy), Bonaire; son, Larry D. Glenn, Mount Holly, North Carolina; grandson, Cameron Andrews (Angie), Centerville; granddaughter, Ashleigh Gravitt (Carder), Kathleen; great-granchildren, Madison and Caleb Andrews and Jacob and Carleigh Gravitt ; brother, A. E. Clemmer, Jr., Gastonia, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on March 17, 2009 at the First Church of the Nazarene, the Reverend David Miller officiating. There will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2009, in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Mount Holly, North Carolina. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Suite 201, Macon GA 31201-3498.
