Blanche Horton Porter Wright

Mrs. Blanche Horton Porter Wright passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013, 2 weeks before her 97th birthday. She was a resident of Salemtowne's Phillips Health Care Center in Winston-Salem, NC, formerly of Warner Robins, GA. She owned and operated Blanche's Fashion Boutique for many years.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her son, Royce (Linda) Porter of Clemmons, NC; her daughter, Madge (Roy) Chambers of Clemmons, NC; grandsons, Dr. Tony (Angie) Porter of Lewisville, NC, and Alan (Foong Ha) Porter of Cary, NC; granddaughter, Lynn (Kevin) Murray of Niceville, FL; 6 great-grandchildren; step-children, Bob (Joy) Wright of TX, Donna (Bob) Dorenbusch of OH, and Nancy (Phil) Stanley of WV, a niece Anne (Jackie) Holder, and nephew Jimmy (Margie) Wimberly both of Cochran, G.A.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M Saturday, June 29, 2013 at McCullough Funeral Home Chapel in Warner Robins, GA with Rev. Missy Blumenthal officiating. Entombment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Resident's Financial Assistance Fund at Salemtowne, 1000 Salemtowne Dr., Winston-Salem, NC 27106 or Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
