Bobby C. Brown

Mr. Bobby C. Brown, 62, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2004 in his home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Dr. Owen Bozeman will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Born in Vienna, Mr. Brown was the son of the late Willie L. and Ethel Brown. He was a retired electrician of the I.B.E.W. and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War. He was a Mason in Tyrian Lodge #111, as well as a member of the Al Sihah Shrine Temple, the Scottish Rite, and the Warner Robins Moose Lodge. He attended Central Baptist Church. His parents and granddaughter, Samantha Slappey, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Brown, and three daughters, Donna Carrier (Rickey), Brenda Taylor (David) and Tammy Slappey (Benny), all of Warner Robins; sisters, Helen Heckman and Betty Allison Parker, both of Macon; brother, Jimmy L. Brown, Macon; and seven grandchildren: Bryan Carrier, Jessica Carrier, Matt Taylor, Marla Taylor, Brett Taylor, Lindsay Mears, and Sarah Slappey.
