Bobby N. Ramsey

Bobby N. Ramsey, age 66, died Monday, May 10, 2004 at a local area hospital. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 13, 2004 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 Wednesday, May 12, at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests making a living memorial to a loved one.

Mr. Ramsey was born on June 13, 1937 in Albany, GA. He was a veteran of the United States Army, the Army National Guard and was retired from the Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base where he worked as a Logistics Manager. Mr. Ramsey was a dedicated member of Toastmasters and served in every office at the club level, the area level and the state level. He was, at one time, a Den Master for the Cub Scouts and a member of Odd Fellows.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Ramsey, Centerville; sons, Bobby N. Ramsey (Sherri), Dublin; and S. Allan Ramsey, Byron; daughters, Anne Michele Land (Marvin), Okeechobee, Florida; and Kristina Eden (Christopher), Macon; and son Patrick Ramsey, Warner Robins; and 10 grandchildren: Jason Land, Richard Land, Benjamin Ramsey, Gabriel Ramsey; Roman Ramsey, Angelina Ramsey, Kristina Land, Kaleb Ramsey, Rebecca Ramsey and Colby Land; his birth mother Eunice Sutherlin; his aunt, Mary Shiver, Rome, Georgia; and his mother-in-law, Faye Douglas, Macon.
