In Loving Memory of Bobby Ray Spurlock.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Spurlock, a retired member of our United States Air Force, who peacefully left this world on January 23, 2024, in Macon, Georgia.

Bob Spurlock served his country with honor and dedication for many years. He was a true patriot who selflessly defended our nation's freedom and protected the values we hold dear. His commitment to duty and his unwavering loyalty were an inspiration to all who had the privilege of serving alongside him.

After his service, Bob and his wife, Nedra opened the first submarine sandwich shop in Warner Robins called Sub Station II, which was located in Stantom Plaza. After a time, they opened a second Sub Station II, which was located on Russell Parkway.  Bob was also known for Bob’s U Pick It, where he grew blueberries and muscadines at his home on Lake Joy Road, as well as a horse rescue he ran from his property. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and was an avid golfer, garnering five hole-in-ones in his lifetime.

Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nedra Arden Spurlock, and his mother, Jewel Jennings.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Donnell Albritton and Karen Daly; grandchildren, Jamieson, Melissa, Raychel, Carly, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Addie, Juliana, Camille, Clayton, and Corbin; and brother, Hershell Spurlock. He cherished his family and took great pride in watching his grandchildren grow and thrive.

Master Sergeant Bobby Spurlock, USAF (Ret.) will be remembered for his bravery, integrity, and dedication to his country and his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
