Bobby Travis Martin, Sr.

Bobby Martin, 53, died Monday, July 14, 2003. Services will be held on Thursday, July 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Martin was born in Dodge County, Georgia but had lived in Warner Robins all his life. He was a 1968 graduate of Warner Robins High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Korea during the Vietnam War. He had worked with McDonell-Douglas/Boeing and Pabst Brewing Company. At the time of his death he was the owner of Bobby Martin Construction. He loved hunting and fishing and had won three National Crappie Championships. Cooking was another of his favorite hobbies. He was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Alvin T. Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Harris Martin, Byron; mother, Lunell Carpenter Martin, Warner Robins; son, Bobby Travis Martin, Jr. (JoAnn), Byron; daughter, Wendy Martin Cole, (Brian), Byron; granddaughter, Madison Rhys Martin, Byron; brother, Ronnie L. Martin (Sharon), Bonaire, Danny T. Martin (Cindy), Warner Robins.
