Bonnie Kay Hurlburt

Bonnie Hurlburt, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, August 11, 2019. Born in Midland, Michigan, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Claude and Alma Irwin. Bonnie’s husband, Merwin, was in the military and together they traveled all over the United States. Eventually, they settled down in Warner Robins where they have lived for over 60 years. Bonnie enjoyed gardening and making crafts. She was the caretaker of her family and loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed her pets, Molly, Zola, and Katie. Most of all, Bonnie adored the time that she got to spend with her grandchildren.

In addition to Bonnie’s parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Claude Alan Hurlburt and Merwin Hurlburt, Jr.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 66 years, Merwin Lee Hurlburt, Sr.; daughter, Sherri Hurlburt; daughter-in-law, Kandi Hurlburt; grandchildren, Andrew Hurlburt, Amber Hurlburt, and Mary Kay Hurlburt; great grandchildren; Joshua Campbell, Devin Campbell, Joseph Campbell, and Jonathan Blake.

A memorial gathering for Mrs. Hurlburt will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
