Brenda Ayers Sanders

Brenda Ayers Sanders, 59, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2005. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, at the McCullough Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fort Valley, Georgia. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4 at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to Vista Care Hospice, 750 Baconsfield Drive, Macon, Georgia 31211.

Mrs. Sanders was born December 3, 1945 in Stone Mountain, Georgia to the late Washington Lee and Georgia Mary Ayers. A retired Church Secretary from First Baptist of College Park, she was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jonesboro, where she taught Sunday School.

Survivors include, daughter, Amy Schurtz and her husband, Murray, Fort Valley; son, Jay Sanders and his wife, Marsha, Greenville; and two sisters, Becky Hortman, Locust Grove and Gaynelle Cook, Nevada.
