Brenda Barker Fox

Brenda Fox, 64, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia after a short illness from cancer. Services will be held at 2:00 on Sunday, November 27, in the River of Light Church of God with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fox was born in Bath, SC. She moved to Warner Robins in 1943. She graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1959. She married and moved from Warner Robins a few years later. Her last employment was at Sparta Printing in Illinois. She retired on disability in 1991. She returned to Warner Robins and resided with her parents. She attended the River of Light Church of God; she was a member of Moose Women’s Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary (FOE), American Personnel Assistants Association of Printing Companies. Preceding her in death was a son, Glynn Whitby, father Ernest S. Barker, mother, Mollie (Gladys) Barker, brothers, Ronald J. and Dan S. Barker.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Scalzi (Paul), Clinton Township, MI; Gladys Machele Kukuk (Bill), Auburn Hills, MI; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Rachel B. Howell of Warner Robins, Georgia; Eunice S. Gilmore of Costa Mesa, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
