Brian “Keith” Madden, 43, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2005. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Keith was born on January 12, 1962 in Greenville, South Carolina. A lifelong resident of Houston County, Keith served two terms in the United States Army and graduated with honors from the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program at South Georgia Institute in Americus. He placed first in the statewide Aircraft Maintenance Skills Competition, held annually in Augusta, Georgia. He was employed with L3 Vertex Aerospace as a civilian contractor in Balad, Iraq. Preceding him in death were, his father, James A. Madden; grandfather, James W. Madden; grandmother, Laynette Madden; and grandfather, George W. Davis.
Survivors include, his wife, Debbie Madden, Bonaire; mother, Shirley A. Dykes, Bonaire; step-father, Roger Middleton, Florida; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Frances Smith, Myrtle Missouri; stepson, Clay Armstrong, West Plains, Missouri; brother, Clint Middleton, Warner Robins; sister, Kim Madden (Sampson) and niece, Miranda, Warner Robins; grandmother, Bessie Davis, Bonaire; grandparents, Everett and Norma Middleton, Gainesville, Florida; grandmother, Margie Cook, Thayer, Missouri; aunt and uncle, Fred and Betty Diehl, Warner Robins; aunt and uncle Harry and Elaine Hicks, Tallapoosa, Georgia; and two brother-in-laws, Rick Smith, West Plains, Missouri and Gary Smith, Thayer, Missouri.
