Bridget Leigh Fitzgerald

Bridget Leigh Flynn Fitzgerald passed away in her sleep on March, 30, 2015, at the age of 41, while visiting family in Warner Robins, GA. Although she fought a long battle with illness, her death was unexpected. Bridget leaves behind her two beautiful daughters, Reagan Laura and Bailey Peyton Fitzgerald, whom she shares with former spouse, Bill Fitzgerald. Her girls were the light of her life and the fuel in her fire that kept her going for so many years.
Bridget was born in Dubuque, IA June 23, 1973 to Lynn Victoria (Gronen) Donald and Terry P. Flynn. She moved to Georgia with her mother and step-father, Mark W. Donald, in 1985. Bridget left Georgia in 1993 to work and travel the world, before settling in the Atlanta area in 1996. She continued to travel while teaching project management, until she settled home to start a family in 2006. Her illness took her out of the workplace in 2011 and she has focused all of her time and energy on the raising of her two daughters. Bridget relocated to Tarpon Springs, FL in 2014 to be closer to family.
Bridget is survived by her mother and step-father (of Tarpon Springs, FL), father and step-mother (Kerry Lynch, of Random Lakes, WI), sister Tara (& Clark Elderkin, of Warner Robins, GA) and their children, Savannah, Shelby, John, and Landon, sister Megan (& Dave Ballarini, of Clearwater, FL) and their son, Leo, sister Whitney Donald (of N. Hollywood, CA), and brother Nick Donald (of Tarpon Springs, FL).

Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 4, 2015, at 9:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3303 Belcher Rd, Palm Harbor, FL. Burial services will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Trinity, FL.
