Bea Petrie, 69, peacefully passed into the hands of her Lord on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Bea's strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through her difficult journey for several years.
Bea was born on February 1, 1945 in Inarajan, Guam to the late Mariano and Maria Paulino. She retired from Robins Air Force Base as the Media Center Technician at Robins Elementary School.
A devout parishioner of Our Lady of the Skies Catholic Church, Bea was a much-loved member of the Catholic Women group and was given the title of Sunshine Lady. She also helped in various other positions at the church. Bea was an amazing chef and delighted in cooking for all of her family and friends. She loved the outdoors, traveling and had fun camping and "RV'ing," as well. Bea had a generous heart, fun-loving spirit and will always be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, doting nana, dear sister, and confidante to many.
Bea's parents; sister, Irene P. Kumiyama; and brothers, Francisco M. Paulino and Mariano T. Paulino, Jr., preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her devoted husband of 48 years, Thomas Michael Petrie of Warner Robins; children, Brigid Petrie-O'Hearn (Don) of San Antonio, Texas and Thomas M. Petrie, Jr. (Debra) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Christy Petrie, and Savannah and Shannon O'Hearn; siblings, Sister Imelda M. Paulino, Sister Catalina Paulino, Sister Mary McAuley Paulino, Sister Maria Regina Paulino, Felomena P. Chargualaf, Jose A. Paulino, Patricia P. Blas, and Benedicto J. Paulino; and a host of adoring nieces, nephews, and friends.
