"Buddy" Albert J. Payne

“Buddy” Albert J. Payne, 76, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2006. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Mikado Baptist Church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens, 720 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins Georgia 31093. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 21, 2006 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, 417 South Houston Lake, Warner Robins Georgia 31088. Memorials may be made to Mikado Baptist Church Building Fund, 6751 Houston Road, Macon Georgia 31216.

Mr. Payne was born on December 27, 1929 in Wilkerson County, Georgia. He was a member of Mikado Baptist Church and a former Deacon and Director of Brotherhood at Northside Baptist Church. He also served in the Army Reserves 480th Engineering. His parents, Albert and Marie Payne, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of fifty four years, Catherine Payne, Warner Robins; son, Jerry Neal Payne, Warner Robins; siblings, Mattie Durham, Macon; Annie Fulwood, Macon; Donald Payne, Lizella; Ricky Payne, Marietta; Sheila Hester, Macon; Seggie Hall, Juliette; and Jimmy Woods, Byron.
