Calvin Kelsea Wright, Sr.

December 3, 1960 — August 17, 2015

Calvin Wright, known to some as "Cal," was born in Waynesboro, Burke County, Georgia on December 3, 1960 to his loving parents, Ezra Roberson and Pauline Roberson. At an early age, Calvin accepted the Lord as his personal savior and joined Mount Olive Methodist Church. He was very well known in his high school and loved by his classmates. He was a 1978 graduate of Waynesboro High School.

Calvin was employed at Robins Air Force Base for 26 years. While working at RAFB, he served as an Electrician, Work Leader. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, joking, and socializing. Calvin also loved playing table tennis as well as watching college football (Go Noles!!). He loved his Dallas Cowboys and there was nothing anyone could do about it!

Calvin was a great family man and a loving father. He married Collie J. Wright on June 4, 1983 in Waynesboro, Georgia and the couple had five children together as a blended family. They were married for 32 years. Calvin was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Leon Wright in 1955.

Calvin's legacy lives on in the hearts and memories of his friends and family to include: a devoted and loving wife, Collie J. Wright, Warner Robins, Georgia; children, Sherrale Wright-Bonner (Ben), Waynesboro, Georgia; Brian Webb (LaShelle), Clarksville, Tennessee; Ricco Wright, Waynesboro, Georgia; Calvin Wright, II (Yetmon), Snellville, Georgia; and Christopher Wright, Columbus, Georgia; 19 grandchildren; loving parents, Ezra and Pauline Roberson, Waynesboro, Georgia; eight sisters, Bessie Roberson, Baltimore, Maryland; Patricia Roberson-Saunders (Calvin), Charlotte, North Carolina; Jackie Cordy, Newnan, Georgia; Sandra Lynch, Waynesboro, Georgia; Debra Bell (Bob), Macon, Georgia; Paulette Lemons (Bill), Centerville, Georgia; Cynthia Brady (Kenneth), Keysville, Georgia; and Adrienne Saulsberry (Tommy), Hephzibah, Georgia; five brothers, Michael Roberson, Waynesboro, Georgia; Rex Wright (Yolanda), Evans, Georgia; Ronald Wright and Dana Wright (Nicole), both of Atlanta, Georgia; and Timothy Wright (Etrenda), Keysville, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, two adopted brothers, Vince Rogers (Sirena), Keysville, Georgia and Lorenzo Terry (Daphine), Waynesboro, Georgia, and work associates.

Visitation will be Friday, August 21, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
