Calvin Nathaniel Womack

Calvin Womack, 86, entered into rest on the morning of Wednesday, December 7, 2016.

Born on June 5, 1930 in Gordon, Georgia to the late James Henry and Lilian Womack, Calvin was of the Baptist faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a retired groundskeeper for Cochran Airport. Calvin had a deep love for music, playing guitar, and spending time with family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a number of siblings.

He leaves his memory behind with his loving great-niece, Deborah Cervantes (Joe) of San Antonio, Texas; nephew, David Wood of Suwanee, Georgia; great-great-niece, Sarah Morgan (Sherman) of Fort Valley; and many other adoring family members.

The family will receive friends at McCullough Funeral Home on Monday, December 12th from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Graveside funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville where Calvin will be laid to rest.
