Candace Elaine Young

Candace Elaine Young, 61, entered the gates of heaven on Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Candy was born on December 10, 1960, in Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana to the late James and Beverly Young. She dedicated years of service to the United States Air Force where she retired as a training specialist. Candy enjoyed crafting and made the best scrapbooks to cherish her family’s memories. She loved reading, watching sports, traveling but loved her dogs most. Candy’s favorite place was with her daughter and being Cici to her grandsons who always brought a smile to her face. She talked to her grandchildren almost every day and they were the absolute greatest joys in her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Dawn.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved daughter, Nicki, wonderful son in law, Vincent and their two beautiful children Maxon and Axel; her older brother James (Linda) and younger sisters, Sherii (Bobby) and Sabra (Lee) and her nieces and nephews. Candy had several close friends that she loved dearly.
