Carl L. Hansen, Jr.

Carl L. Hansen, Jr., 68, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.

Carl was born on December 1, 1947 in Panama City, Florida to the late Carl L. Hansen, Sr. and Edith Moore Hansen. A proud Vietnam Veteran, he served his country in the United States Navy and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base.

His grandbabies were the pride and joy of his life. Known by them as "Pe Paw," Carl enjoyed playing with, shopping online for, and just plain spoiling them as much as he could. He will live in their hearts and memories forever. Mr. Hansen attended Warner Robins First Church of the Nazarene and Bonaire First Baptist Church for many years. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Carl Hansen, and his stepmother, Ann Hansen.

Carl leaves his memory behind with his loving wife of 43 years, Grace Williamson Hansen of Kathleen; children, Jessica Hansen Martin (Damon) of Gray and Paul Lawrence Hansen (Amy) of Kathleen; grandchildren, Colton Martin, Isabella Grace Hansen, and Dee Martin; brother, William Bernard "Bubba" Hansen (Debbie) of Panama City, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterwards, Mr. Hansen will be laid to rest in Perry Memorial Gardens.
