Carl Lee White

Mr. Carl Lee White, 81, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2006. Visitation will be Friday, November 24, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services with full military honors will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Andersonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Serenity Gate Hospice 1120 Morningside Drive Perry, GA 31069 or the donor’s favorite charity.

Mr. White was born on January 29, 1925 in Thurston, New York. With loyalty and honor he served in the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. He served during WWII, Vietnam Era and the Korean Conflict. Carl also retired from Robins Air Force Base civil service. His loving wife, Hilda Johann Hindman White and his parents, J. Allen and Georgeanna Dalrymple White, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Linda Benrubi, Boynton Beach, FL; Diane Wallace, Norcross, GA; George White, Columbia, SC; James Hindman, Forest Hill, CA; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Trudy Kelley, Anniston, AL; and Donna Adams, Jupiter, FL.
