Carlton Gary "Sarge" Minnick

October 19, 1938 — December 13, 2013

Gary Minnick, 75, entered into rest on Friday, December 13, 2013.

Mr. Minnick was born on October 19, 1938 in LaGrange, Georgia. With pride and honor he served his country in both the Navy and Air Force Reserve. He retired from Robins Air Force Base where he spent thirty-eight years of service as an electronics technician. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. His loving wife Betty Lou Minnick and parents, Oscar and Johnnie Minnick, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Dewayne Minnick (Colonel Monique Minnick), Waldorf, Maryland; Clara Lynn Hogge (Herman Waldon Hogge, Jr.), Middleburg, Florida; and Susan Grady, Nashville, Tennessee and grandchildren, Danielle Marie Scruggs, Dustin Lee Krinsky, Ashley Faye Hogge, Herman Waldon Hogge, III and Harold Rickey Scruggs, III.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with Funeral Services following at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church 251 South Davis Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
