Carlton Wallace, 72, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2005
surrounded by his family at Houston Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11 at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Mr. Wallace was born October 20, 1932 in Sargent, Georgia to the late Paul and Amanda Wallace. He retired from the United States Air Force at the rank of Master Sergeant. He served in the Vietnam War. After his retirement, he was employed for 27 years with several private contractors on Robins Air Force Base as the assistant project and project manager. Preceding him in death were siblings, Leonard Wallace, Homer Wallace, Howard Wallace, and Jewell Brooks.
Survivors include, wife of 40 years, Lois Wallace, Warner Robins; daughter, Carol O’Neal, Fayetteville; daughter, Freda Hankins (Charles), Warner Robins; sister, Inez W. O’Neal, Manchester; grandsons, Paul Matthews, Virginia; Mark Matthews (Sonja), Byron; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kayla, Brandon, and Abigale Matthews; several nieces and nephews, including Jean Waddell (Johnny) Warm Springs, Thomas Wallace (Patti), Shiloh, Wilson O’Neal, Jr., Manchester.
