Carol Ann Saliba

Carol Ann Saliba went to be with the Lord on the morning of Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the age of 71. Born in Beaufort, SC on October 12, 1950, Carol was the daughter of the late Billy A. and Maria Kagerer Petty and was of the Lutheran faith.

Carol’s working years were spent serving airplane passengers with a warm smile and energetic disposition as a flight attendant. She most recently worked for Delta Airlines where she retired from approximately 10 years ago. Carol’s career was perfectly suited for her as she loved traveling and making friends the same. She was blessed to have been able to travel with her husband, Sammy’s, Air Force career and to have made lifelong friends everywhere they went. Carol still kept in touch with several of those friends over the years. Sammy and her family would like to sincerely thank all of those people for their constant comradery. It meant the world to Carol. In her spare time, she loved working in her yard and was proud of how beautiful it was. Carol was also an avid lover of all animals, but her favorite was her cat, Garfield. Her enthusiasm for life and kind heart will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 40 wonderful years, Sammy Thomas Saliba of GA; sons, Charles Sherwood (Crystal) of TX and Johnny Sherwood of GA; and grandchildren.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in memory of Carol to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
