In the early morning hours of Sunday, October 30, 2022, our loving mother, “Pumpkin” and sister, Carol Flurie Stuckey, passed peacefully into the hands of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ while surrounded by her family.
Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on January 18, 1951, Carol was the daughter of the late Robert D. and Rachel Vuori Flurie. She dedicated her life to raising her children and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, David Allen Stuckey; and her brother, Mark Flurie.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Heather L. Yoder (Kenneth) of Montezuma and Jennifer L. Curtin (Travis Prater) of Fort Valley; grandchildren, Allison, Clay, William, Matthew, Courtland, Charlee and Cameron; siblings, Cathy Swineford and Lisa Flurie, both of FL, and Joanne Flurie of AL.
Visitation will be Monday, October 31, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, 417 S. Houston Lake Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088. Carol will be laid to rest with a graveside service on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Marty Watson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Carol to Heart of Georgia Hospice c/o the Hazel Colson Hospice House, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
