Carol J. Head

Carol J. Head, 69, entered into rest on Saturday, May 17, 2014.

Carol was born on February 11, 1945 at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed time spent with her family. Carol called Second Baptist her church home and was a member of the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class. She will always be remembered as a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

Her son, Christopher Charles Head and parents, Charlie D. and Gladys Strader Finney, preceded her in death.

Carol's memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Robert D. Head, Jr. of Byron, Georgia; son, Stephen Douglas Head (Dianne) of Loxahatchee, Florida; grandchildren, Stephanie A. Head and Christopher Settles; sister, Nancy Faye Wright (Jerry) of Burlington, North Carolina; loving nephew, Matthew S. Wright of Moline, Illinois and niece, Angela M. Wright of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

Following the memorial service, there will be a private, family only gathering.
