Carol Perry Lee

September 8, 1945 — March 20, 2025

Warner Robins

Carol Perry Lee, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 79, surrounded by her family.  Born on September 8, 1945, at the Robins Air Force Base Hospital in Warner Robins, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John and Lelia McDaniel Perry.

Carol grew up in Warner Robins and graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1963.

After high school, Carol pursued a career as a beautician before transitioning to a position with the City of Warner Robins as a dispatcher and later as a records clerk. She retired from her position, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and hard work.

Carol was a devout member of Northside Baptist Church, where her faith was an integral part of her life. Music was another of her passions—she played both the piano and drums and performed in various bands over the years. She also had a creative soul and was an incredibly talented artist. Her love for drawing, painting, and crafting filled her life with joy. She even won blue ribbons at the Georgia State Fair for her paintings and enjoyed volunteering at both the Georgia State Fair and the Museum of Aviation.

Carol’s talents extended to sewing, and she lovingly made wedding dresses for her family, each stitch a testament to her care and generosity. She had a deep love for fishing and spent many hours enjoying the quiet of nature, finding peace by the water.

Known for her honesty, independence, strength, and unselfishness, Carol was a woman who could fix anything. She was incredibly resourceful and capable of fixing anything that needed attention, and no task was ever too big or small for her to handle.  Her family and friends knew her as someone who always kept everyone in line; she was the embodiment of the saying, "dynamite comes in small packages."

Carol's legacy is one of love, creativity, and faith. She leaves behind a strong impact on all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brothers, John Perry, Jr. and Jackson Ray Perry, Sr.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Jimmy; children, Don Lee (Lisa) of Byron, Georgia, and Michael Lee (Amy) of Cochran, Georgia; and grandchildren, Cohen Lee and Veronica Lee.
