Carol Lynn Quednow, 77, died on Sunday, June 24, 2018.
Born in Topeka, Kansas on September 24, 1940, Carol graduated from Topeka High School and from Washburn University where she earned her BBA. She also earned a Graduate degree in Business at Georgia College in Milledgeville. Carol retired from her career as an Information Technology Specialist at Robins Air Force Base in 2005. She was a devout member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church whose quiet smile and willingness to help others will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her parents, Cecil and Frieda Carter preceded her in death.
Carol will be missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Maj. William J. Quednow of Warner Robins; daughters, Maryam Clyburn (Robert) of Grayson and Maryetta Casey (Patrick) of Navarre, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Carol’s cremated remains will be inurned at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville at a later date.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Carol to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 336 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31088 or Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Rd., Macon, GA 31210.
