Carol Sanders Broxton

Carol Sanders Broxton, 69, entered into rest on Monday, October 18, 2010.

Carol was born on September 6, 1941 in Fort Valley, Georgia. She was a faithful member of Oakland Baptist Church. One of Carol's greatest joys was spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to so many. Carol retired from the financial industry at Wachovia Bank, which was formerly known as Citizens State Bank. Her parents, Thullin L. and Mary Edna Dossey Sanders, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, John Jerry Broxton; loving children, Beth Broxton Greene (Winfeld); Cliff Broxton (Leslie); five amazing grandchildren, Caroline, Catherine, and Christopher Greene, and Gehrig and Sydney Broxton, all of Warner Robins; brother, Gene Sanders (Nancy), Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and so many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, October 21, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Reverend Nick Randall and Pastor Thomas Barnard will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Broxton to Oakland Baptist Church, 1509 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
