Carole Suzanne "Suzie" Harrell

Carole Suzanne "Suzie" Harrell, 53, entered into rest on Friday, February 7, 2014 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Suzie was born on January 27, 1961 in Topeka, Kansas. A 1979 graduate of Warner Robins High School, she retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. She worked with sheet metal and was known for her strong work ethic. Suzie was a devout fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and a season ticket holder of the Atlanta Falcons. She loved her dogs, Lucy and B.J. and was a great friend to many. Suzie's mother, Jean Henderson, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of seventeen years, Paul Harrell of Bonaire; daughter, Becky McKinney of Bonaire; father, Bill Henderson of Warner Robins; brother, Bill Henderson (Dana) of Bonaire; two nieces and two nephews.

Suzie's family would like to give a special "thank you" to all of her friends that gave their unrelenting support through her illness. She received countless "Thank You" cards, letters, and visits from her friends and co-workers, and they will forever be grateful. The family would also like to give their sincere thanks to Ashley Woolfolk and all the other caring staff at Serenity Hospice.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O.
