Carolyn Ann Hickman

Carolyn A. Hickman, 84, entered into rest on Thursday, January 23, 2025. 

Carolyn was born on December 8, 1940, in Danville, Virginia. She was the daughter of James Henry Hudson and Olive Roark Hudson. Carolyn was a devoted wife of 66 years to Frank H. Hickman, who preceded her in death in 2023. Carolyn was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. Carolyn was a faithful Christian and loved sharing God’s words. She loved spending time with her family and friends. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Carolyn was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Marshall. 

Her memory will forever be treasured by her those who love and will miss her terribly; children, Heidi Conner (Scott) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Jonie Goins (Ellis) of Union Mills, North Carolina, and Frank J. Hickman (Sheila) of Guyton, Georgia; and sister, Revonda Durham, along with 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. 

At the family’s request, a private service will be held at a later date.
