Carolyn Young

Carolyn Smith Young, 64, entered into rest on Sunday, September 18, 2011.

Ms. Young was born in Byron, Georgia. A 1965 graduate from Warner Robins High School, she worked as a Medical Chart Analyst for twenty-seven years at Houston Medical Center. She was a longtime member of River of Light Church of God. Her parents, Homer D. Smith and Ruby L. Mimbs Smith, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Brent Young, Nashville, Tennessee; sisters, Brenda Darnell, Warner Robins, and Gail Hall (Steve), Byron; brothers, Ken Smith (Lucy), Byron, and Darrell Smith (Gina), Warner Robins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at River of Light Church of God on Corder Road in Warner Robins, Pastor Dwayne Evors and Reverend Mike Cowart officiating. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
