Catherine Deason Walls passed away on January 7, 2021, in Macon. She was 83 years old.
Catherine was born in McIntyre, Georgia, to the late Jack Deason Sr. and Norma “Ruth” Deason. A faithful member of Christ Lutheran Church in Perry, she spent most of her career in civil service at Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years, an avid card player and she loved to fish. More than any of her hobbies, however, Catherine loved people more than she loved herself.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack and Cecil Deason.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, LaWanna Peachey (Craig) of Warner Robins; son, Charles “Randy” Walls; niece, Patsy Ann Click; four grandsons, seven great grandchildren and many more beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made in Catherine’s memory to Christ Lutheran Church, 208 Langston Road, Perry, Georgia 31069.
