Catherine Dorothy Nelson

Catherine Dorothy "Kitty" Nelson, 83, entered into rest on December 28, 2008.

Ms. Nelson was born on December 29, 1924, in Kingston, England. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was a member of the Daughters of the British Empire and attended First Presbyterian Church in Warner Robins. She retired from Travelers Insurance Company. Her husband, John Nelson, and parents, Albert Stanlake and Dorothy Davis Stanlake, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Keith J. Nelson, Sussex, England; Wendy K. Nelson-Wenke (Jim), Malvern, Pennsylvania, Anne E. Soderberg (Dean), Bonaire, Georgia; and Jackie Pentalow (Tom), Wethersfield, Connecticut; sister-in-law, Doris Billington, Liverpool, England; and twelve grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 31, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Paula Hoffman officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Susan G. Komen - Breast Cancer, 248 Tom Hill Sr. Blvd., PMB 437, Macon GA 31210.
