Cecil Menzo Fowler

Cecil Fowler, 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2006. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Mr. Cecil Fowler’s memory to: The Lewis Rathbun Wellness Center, 121 Sherwood RD, Asheville, NC 28803.

Mr. Fowler was born on February 28, 1932 in Laurens County, Georgia. He attended Crossroads Baptist Church in Eatonton where he was active with the Senior Men’s Sunday School Class as well as the Senior Citizen’s activities. Cecil proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy. He was retired as the Captain of the Auxiliary Reserves with the Warner Robins Police Department. Additionally, he retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was employed as an Item Manager. His father, Cecil B. Fowler, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Foskey Fowler, Eatonton; children, Roger Fowler (Kathy), Warner Robins; Randy Fowler, Columbus; Rex Fowler, Eatonton; mother, Mazie McMullen, Dublin; granddaughter, Rikki Fowler, Eatonton; five other grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
