Chandler Ray Waters

March 13, 2006 — October 3, 2024

Chandler Ray Waters, 18, a bright and promising young man, left this world far too soon on October 3, 2024. Born on March 13, 2006, in Warner Robins, Georgia, Chandler touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his determination, and passion for life.

Growing up in Warner Robins, Chandler attended Centerville Elementary, Mossy Creek Middle and graduated, in 2024, with honors from Houston County High School. He found joy in wood shop classes, where he spent three years honing his craft. His creativity and perfectionism led him to build beautiful pieces of furniture, including all the furnishings for his own bedroom. While still in high school, Chandler's entrepreneurial spirit flourished as he started his own landscaping business. Specializing in the meticulous art of yard striping, he demonstrated an unrivaled work ethic and a desire to excel. As an avid outdoorsman, Chandler enjoyed fishing, duck hunting but especially the thrill of thermal hunting. He was extremely disciplined and committed to exercising and working out which were part of his daily life. With dreams of furthering his education, he recently began his freshman year at Georgia Southern University where he was studying finance. Growing up in a close-knit family, Chandler demonstrated a deep love and commitment to those around him. Even in his passing, he gave others the gift of life by donating his organs. He was a lifelong member of Harvest Church. A loving son, a cherished friend, and an inspiration to his peers, Chandler will forever be remembered by those who knew him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his parents, Jon and Cristy Waters; brother, Chase Waters of Elko; grandparents, Marcus and Linda Waters of Warner Robins and Tilford and Diane Copeland of Byron; Aunts and Uncles, Steve and Tracy Waters of Elko, Amelia Burnham of Kansas City and Andy Waters of North Dakota; cousins, Ty and Zadie Waters of Elko.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Harvest Church with the Reverend Jim Perdue officiating. At the family’s request, burial will be private.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Chandler Waters to the Tifton Fishing Club, a place near and dear to his heart, at 413 Royal Crest Circle, Kathleen, Georgia 31047.
