Centerville, Georgia - Charles A. Baggett, 82, entered into rest on Saturday, February 16, 2013.
Charles was born on August 22, 1930 in Luverne, Alabama to the late Thomas and Lucy Baggett. He was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church, the Soul Seekers Sunday School Class and XYZ. With pride and honor, Charles served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After retiring civil service with Robins Air Force Base, he loved working on appliances. His granddaughter, Rachel Flowers, step-mother Juanita Baggett, sister, Shirley Brooks and brother, Shelby Baggett all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Nellie Baggett, their daughters: Susan Goodwin (Ricky), Macon; Brenda Barrow (George) Guyton; Charlene Flowers (Alton) Warner Robins and Tammy McGuire (Kevin) Crawford County; grandchildren: Amanda, Lisa, Larry, Megan, Andrew and Austin; great granddaughter, Lexi; and brother, Jimmy Baggett, Glenwood, Alabama.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Second Baptist Building Fund, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088.
