Charles Benjamin Manning, Sr.

Charles "C.B." Manning, Sr., 87, entered into rest on July 9, 2010.

Mr. Manning was born on January 28, 1923 in Adairsville, Georgia. C.B. had been a resident of Warner Robins since 1973. He was a longtime faithful member of Green Acres Baptist Church where he served as a past Deacon. C.B. was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp serving during WWII. A Division Operator with Georgia Power Company, he retired after a lengthy career. C.B. was a devoted and loving family man who also loved the outdoors and fishing. His parents, George Allen Manning and Lillie Mae Franklin Manning, and son, William "Bill" Manning, all preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Billie Faye Teague Manning, Warner Robins; children and their spouses, Chuck Manning (Shelia), Austin, TX; Judy Willis (Jerry), Flowery Branch; Glenn Manning (Debbie), Kathleen; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and so many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 2:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 12, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Ellison officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Green Acres Baptist Church, 901 Elberta Road, Warner Robins, GA 31093.
