Charles "Chuck" Joiner

Chuck Joiner, 72, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 1, 2010.

Chuck was born on December 18, 1937 in Wrightsville, Georgia. With pride and honor, he served his country for twenty years in the United States Air Force, and participated in the Vietnam Conflict He was a faithful and active member of the Warner Robins Church of Christ. His son, Jeffrey Joiner, father, Thomas L. Joiner, and brother, Tommy Joiner all preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of fifty two years, Patsy Joiner, Bonaire; sons, Bruce Joiner (Tammy), Fort Valley, and Darryl Joiner (Donna), Bonaire; grandchildren, Brooke, Ben, Devon and Julia Joiner; great-granddaughter, Haley Roberts; mother, Annie L. Joiner, Wrightsville; brothers, Jack R. Joiner, Albany; Eddie Joiner, Ellerslie, Johnny Joiner, Wrightsville, and Bobby Joiner, Dublin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 3, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment to follow in Wrightsville Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088 or the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon GA 31201.
