Charles E. Dent

Charles Edward Dent, 85, was born at home in Johnson County, Georgia and died at home in Bibb County, Georgia on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

A proud United States Army Veteran, Charles worked in the Carpenter’s Shop at Georgia Kraft Company and was a member of Mikado Baptist Church. He loved children, helping people, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Charles is survived by his wife, Julia Mosley Dent; children, Dianne Dent-Wilcox (Ed) and Darryl Edward Dent (Kim); grandchildren, Joshua Edward Wilcox (Ashley), Isaac Wilcox (Varonika), Justin Dent (Marlee), April Dent, Kyle Gordon (Destiny), Stephanie Bennett (Kevin), and Sierra Roquemore; great-grandchildren, Luke Wilcox, George and Ruby Dent, and Colby Bennett; and a number of siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Following the service, Charles will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
